Well... he pulled a quick one on me coming out of retirement last year, so I decided to do another portrait of good ole Brett; that and the first one proved to be a hit.
After the first 20 minutes of filming my computer froze hence the video starting with some of the drawing already done. Also, I am not sure what the heck happened to the end of the video there; but I was too lazy to fix it after I realized what it looked like.

what kinds of charcoal are you using there? I just got into drawing with it, mainly using graphite and colored pencils before.
I'm wondering because the only charcoal I have is some compressed derwent charcoals a friend gave me and am deciding whether or not to get some vine or willow charcoals.

@RoflCopters6 i use all three...I only add compressed for the really really dark areas.

essentially. But I am in college for art now, and have been interested in art since I can remember.
But I always kept myself occupied outside of class - b.c most art classes give you a broad range of areas to cover...I just draw whenever I can
