I like Touhou to say the least and I also think it deserves a placing in this rank.

But however, I do agree with the message at 2:20~2:32 because most Touhou fans are so ignorant that they think Touhou inspired every Non-Touhou shmup.

Seriously, I've seen people posting stupid comments like "looks like touhou", "reminds me of touhou", "this is copying touhou" on Non-Touhou shmup videos. I seriously think that Touhou fans should learn that Touhou DID NOT INVENTED THE DANMAKU GENRE!

Touhou has some of the most beautiful patterns in danmaku history, it's as if it was programmed by an artist. Wait... it is. It deserves a placing. By the way? 13 comes out sunday. Respect.

I do, however, agree with Mars Matrix's placing. I'm addicted to that sucker.

I mostly agree with this except for the part that says Touhou is "CRAP" , since this game also in STG genre and that deserve top ten rank

So what if Touhou has 2 mikos out of a cast of like 100? That's your opinion on mikos and this video is about the danmaku genre itself. Touhou is a great DANMAKU game.Your case woun't go far on irrevelancy so to that I say Objection.

@AceMagestar Hoy, get an arcade stick.. You can have really nice ones made specially for you, they are cheaper and have all the same Japanese component parts. In the meantime get a joypad :)

Good to see Mars Matrix up there - I love that game but it kicks my teeth in and stamps on my balls.. Its a real challenge, probably the hardest game for me personally, but I love the shop feature (keeps you coming back) even if the bonus features are "overpriced". It certainly lives up to the name "Bullet Hell"!

Seems alot of Touhou fans are butt hurt about this video - grow up girls..

A lot from this list was more focused in Manic Shooter(the ones that rely more in quick reflexes than calm dodging). Kinda liked it since Ketsui was in it(I have Death Label on my DS!).

But, I think there's a lot of good Danmaku missed here- but anyway, I bet these are what just you have heard of/played/liked.

Touhou, maybe you considered it 'overrated' and didn't bother to place it to make this list unique- I have no problem with that.
