What type of digging tool is that and where might I get one?

I use a Mauler shovel and a Lesche hand digger - call Don Dodson at North Georgia Relics (706) 264-6011 and he will be able to help you out with them, tell him that I sent you to him - both tools are made by Predator Tools, George Lesche.

Nice find on that Texas button. I am considering metal detecting. I'm thinking about either a whites or a fisher. What is that little white tool that your using after you dig up a hole. I live in Duluth, GA

I use a White's MXT detector and the tool that you are referring to is a Sunray DX-1 Probe - some people use a pinpointer but I find that it is easy to leave those lying around.....speaking from experience and losing two in the past - I prefer the DX-1 due to the fact that it is attached to my detector and works through my coil and I can hear it in my headphones.
