This opening has that feeling of "This is the end" to it. It was the end of the original Pokemon series (as the name changed to Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation the next season), and the last generation I played before D&P. I can just imagine all of my original Pokemon waving goodbye to me from my old Gameboy, knowing this would be the last battle we had together...

Love Japanese pokémon. I usually use a fucking year to watch from Series 1 to series 4. I watched it all 3 times already... Yay for me a nolifer, But Pokémon is just too kick ass I always learn something new watching it every time. The new seasons sucks trough..........
