Kakadu national park - Yellow Waters wetland

Kakadu National Park lies up at the tip of Australia, 200 kilometres to the east of Darwin. It is more than 20,000 square kilometres in size. The alligator rivers flow straight through the park. Kakadu obtained National Park status on 5 April 1975.
The park is of enormous biological value because of its huge variety of plants and animals. Breathtaking landscapes in their full original state.
Officially designated by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, this site is to be safeguarded for the future as a testimony to its enduring past.
