@jayDluvsthebeatles , Hi, definitely no unless you dont mind it will be heavy n difficult to carry. If you really like speedy for school bag, perhaps you can go for the speedy 35. If you are acceptive to other type of bags, I would reccomend Neverfull MM or GM size; depending on your figure type, most ppl usually choose neverfull for school bag.
