  • It's almost 2:00 in the morning and I just finished watching your videos regarding soldering!

I have been trying to solder for ages and I have failed all the times. LoL. THANK YOU so much for all the new information you have provided to us.

One question please. How did you handle the solder that came out of the holes. Please, please, answer to me!!!

I will give soldering another try on the weekend. If I succeed this time I will let you know. :-)

  • The solder will not come out through the holes. Although the solder will flow, it will not fill the holes providing you don't use too much solder.

    Glad you liked the video's.

Let me know how you get on

  • ??? Did he just stick the sterling on the acid with a steel/Stainless set of twisters? Everything elce was top instruction.

  • They are stainless tweezers and I use safety pickle not sulphuric acid.

Glad you liked the video. Have you checked out my other videos?

  • Is there a problem using silver solder paste? do you need flux for this?

  • I just found you !! Thank you !! So much, I always thought my pieces were clean enough, well, they were not. I've looked in so many books, soldering, problem solving, trouble shooting, and none have really showed what, or said what clean, really clean is. I will give it a try, I'm sure your tech will help !!

and maybe I'll be able to cut back on the swearing a bit. Thanks again... Jami (thesterlingmutt)
