@lewis9968 no way, the African butterfly has no way to protect itself against an Oscar, even a small one. They should be kept with with peaceful fish who aren't small enough to fit in their mouth. I keep one with my female bettas, and blue gourami, the gourami bugs it on occasion. I tried keeping mine 2 small cichlids(2" fire mouth and Jack dempsey) but I moved it when they dragged it down to the bottom of the tank.

the surface isnt moving? you have no filter? or do you have the outtake under the surface

Nice - what do you keep him with? Mine's in a cichlid tank with PH 7.5, although I have ready that they like 6.5-7. What's yours?
