I used to have problems with moderate acne but luckily as a got older my acne went away. I only endured about 3 years of having acne, but I had bigger and continue to have bigger challenges in life than acne could have ever given me.

Proactiv never worked for me. It only made my acne worse and it irritated my skin. Keep in mind that if you have a light case of acne or if you have sensitive skin, proactiv probably wont work for you. The active ingredient is "Benzoyl Peroxide" and it's known to dry out and irritate the skin for some people. If you have a pretty bad case of acne, then it shouldn't be a problem, but for those who have light acne & sensitive skin, using Salicylic Acid products are probably much better.
