Actually the problem is deeper than what they described.America has so much opportunity on the outside but when you grow up in America u see that many kids r packed in failing school systems because of our class system.Children r being left behind. You can't complete college with 8th grade math skills and 6th grade reading skills. There is a reason why 9% of students from low income families graduate. To understand America's problems you must educate yourself on the system -from an immigrant child

@tampabayismyhome You can choke on your hate for all I care. I couldn't care less. And what you just stated is gross generalization and not accurate in the great majority. As for you friend, he will reap what he sows. END OF.

You people are hated in America. stop moving to the fucking Midwest, It's mostly whites who hate you. You fuckers come over here and go on welfare immediately, and then realize you can't find a job because you have a second grade education. Then you turn to crime and end up in our jails. And because you're a criminal you don't qualify for welfare anymore and end up homeless. One of my friends killed one of you fuckers two weeks ago in Jamestown North Dakota where I live. we hate you.

@o0R3stless0o Read the comment below by BLACK018707 and you'll see why SOME succumb to such vices! The majority of African youths in America, have a strong family/community unit so they are closely monitored and certain norms and values are instilled in them, and the most important one being to uphold your family name and tribe! Yes there are good and bad apples, but it depends on how bad,and which apples.....
-
@vixxy02 Are Africans so weak that they are easily influenced by other cultures that they cannot think for themselves? Or is it just that you don't want to admit that you have bad apples in your batch as well...

@o0R3stless0o I'm an African, and as an African it is my duty to defend, protect and warn my fellow Africans of the cancer that is black Americans! There are NO black American role models worthy of emulating, except Michelle Obama, and that's because she's married to an African, so our norms, ethics and culture has rubbed off on her..in other words she's an honorary African! It sickens/saddens me when I see African youths emulating worthless cultures, and shunning our own.We should keep to ourselves!

@vixxy02 OK so you're not even Somalian nor do you live in the United States. Your comment is null and void.
-
@o0R3stless0o Well I'm NOT Somalian, nor do I live in America,so your comments mean nothing! I'm stating the obvious, and I'm not afraid to say what's on EVERYBODYS MIND! It's unfortunate that the bad eggs spoil it for the good ones, but hey....that's life!
This is a great topic..
Very True @ 5:37-5:43 and 7:17-7:43
I would just like to disagree about the Somali Role Models...There are so many other there, you just need to look. Your parents are your role models, the sheikh you are sitting could be one, there are so many somali intellects out there, not many, but they are there. Rageh Omaar is one, Imam Faisal Mohammed , there are some great somali authors..

The single mother phenomenon in the Somali communities the world over has created a generation of Somali kids prone to crime and violence. Low income housing projects surrounded by bad influences and bad schools produce an all too familiar result. Asians have known this quite some time and today you'd rarely see them or their kids in the projects Somali kids are well known far. If the parent is oblivious to the aforementioned points or is unwilling to change them then those kids are doomed.
