My 7 yr old is 2E, I wish the school would help more. My daughter has been reading since age 2 and is working many grade levels ahead. At home, I teach her algebra, multiple languages, and music and art. She needs to move ahead, but even though she's identified as both autistic and highly gifted, the school cannot look past her autism.
