can I use different sound card other than audio 8 and use the cdjs with it? I got motu ultra mk3. its got line in/out midi...8 channels... it would be kind to explain how to hook it up if its ok with you. cheers :)

Actually I think you can. I never tried using any other sound cards, but you can always give it a shot. There is an option in Traktor that lets you choose your external source.

Vinyl is a dead technology. Though I would love to use my control vinyls on a turntable. Yet, I don't have them. Don't really need them. But thanks for the tip :)

The record button is inside the software itself :)

It saves your recorded sets in a default directory (which you can change later on) and the files are saved as .wav
