I can't help but wonder how much Stu had to pay Abby to get him to agree to have Morrow KICK OUT OF HIS FINISHER, then have Abby LOSE BY DQ, AND AGREE TO GET SUPLEXED.

Davey Boy - no surprise. But I assume that Davey Boy also had to lean it to one side. A completely erect standing suplex - as Smith often leashed on many opponents as a show of power would have been too dangerous to execute on a man of Abdullah's weight, with Abdullah being at greater risk of injury (A bad slip in the execution would have landed Abdullah landing completely upside-down head first, breaking his neck).
If Davey Boy DID execute a fully erect suplex on Abdullah, it's incredible.

I remember watching this match on TV in 1984, and I thought that somewhere in it Abdullah had roughed up the referee after the ref tried to control him.
And the pre-WWF Bret Hart seemed more soft-spoken here than during his WWF interviews. Was it age or presentation?
