@honest4sure agreed, these days singers like to show off going up and down and around the scales. Hardly anyone just sings straight anymore. Give me Marilyn, here, and Karen Carpenter any day over Beyonce, etc. They didn't show off because they didn't have to.

Nope. Not too many voices like her's around anymore. Today, it's just G-strings, shaved heads, and 5 pounds of make-up on stage. (NOT THAT I'M AGAINST ANY OF THAT !!!!!!)

In her prime, there wasn't a note she couldn't hit perfectly. Range is extraordinary. Marilyn's voice gets any male totally worked up. Not Barbara, not Beyonce, not Whitney can compare in all qualities including class.

Marilyn is not only gorgeous, but soooo Classy too - unlike all those unclassy female singers we're stuck with today (you know the ones... Brittany, Rihanna, Madonna, Gaga). Marilyn's voice, poise, grace, beauty are enough - she doesn't need skimpy outfits or gimmicky "meat" dresses and cone bras to shine through. Take me back to Marilyn anyday!
