great car but fuck...that fuckin' grille, WTF?? It looks so much better in the Australian version - Ford Laser TX3 Turbo 4WD, gotta love that Mazda 1.8 turbo engine....it rocks!

@phantommmv oye se nota que te gustan los escort como a mi, tengo desde hace 6 años un lx 94 2door me esforce por conseguirle los rines del gt los de alum de 7 brazos, estan por llegarme los coilovers y escape. Pero tu sabes que este motor esta mas limitado que el de los gt Y LO QUE MAS ME GUSTA ES CORRER, quiero conseguir uno y ponerselo, crees qie sea posible? que ms habria que cambiar, me ayudarias mucho si me supieras responder, o que le hacemos al 1.9 que trae?

@phantommmv sale en cuanto las tome te mando unas, la vdd esta muy stock pero con los rines 15 y las llantas toyo se ve bien,en unos 20 dias le instalare los coilovers y bajara su perfil, gracias por tu ayuda, empezare mi busqueda por el motor y transmision1

@OpTiMuZSkiLL okay, your 1.9 liter engine only has one camshaft and 2 valves per cylinder, the 1.8 has two camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder. this, among other things, is why the 1.8 in the GT has more power. the GT also has better suspension, interior, etc.

im not a real car person i have a 1995 LX escort which one was better the GT has a 1.8L and LX has 1.9L like i said i dont know cars for real so yeah let me know thank you

@phantommmv yeah I had the Australian version...the TX3 but I had the model before this one (google 1998 KE Laser TX3 all wheel drive) had the Mazda B6 1.6 litre Turbo engine. It was probably Ford Australia's best selling car in the day. Come standard with a centre differential lock, and height adjustable suspension.

Dunno about the ZX2, not the best looking car!
