Joe and Miley; Miley's point of View..
"'Um' what, Joe?" He sighed and tightened his grip in the swing chain.
"I'm sort of glad you don't want to be with him.."
I turned the swing so I was facing him. "Why is that?"
"Miley," he began, "I.. I saw Nick.."
"What did he say?" I was curious now.
"I didn't see him in that way.. I caught him." I knew what he meant.
"Oh,"
"I caught him.. I caught him with Selena.." I looked down but wasn't going to cry. Was it a surprise? Kind of, because I knew Nick was a rude player. I was mad, yes, but I wasn't going to blow up over it. "I'm sorry,"
I smiled and shook my head, putting my hand around my teddy bear. "It's okay, Joe. I saw this coming but never payed any attention to it."
"You don't deserve this,"
"Neither do you, Joe." We both looked at each other and he smiled. I stood up and became even more sick. "I want to leave." He nodded, standing up as well. He offered to hold my bear, but I rejected. I held it tight.
Joe's point of View..
On our way to the bus station, I tried not to put my arm around her. I had no idea what was up with me, but I needed to snap out of it. We talked and joked about some things on the way back to the college. Once we were back, we walked inside and there was no one in the lobby. It was silent, for once. "So.. What are you going to do now?"
She shurgged. "I'm just going to go to bed." She walked around in circles with her head down, holding the teddy bear by it's paw.
"Well, goodnight." She stopped, looked at me, and smiled.
"Good night, Joe." We both took seperate elevators back to our dorms.
Miley's point of View..
I shut my dorm door and slid down it, biting my lip. I was in some sort of a trance about Joe, but didn't know why. I got a knock on the door which sent my flying forwards out of fear. It's like one of those movies were you find out you have a crush then you get killed. But, I don't have a crush..? "Who is it?"
"It's Taylor." I rolled my eyes and got up, opening it irritatingly.
"What do you want?"
She walked in, uninvited. "You REALLY need to talk to Demi. Aren't you supposed to be her best friend?"
"Well - I don't know.. Does she consider me her best friend?"
Taylor smiled with joy for some reason. "No.. Actually, I did talk to her. Her worlds were 'Thanks, Taylor. You really are my bestfriend.' She did mention some things about you.."
"What did she say?"
"Why do you want to know? You pushed her away." I looked down as she walked off. She was right, and I couldn't deny it. I did push her away.
With Joe..
I had to watch my back at all times for Nick. He could come up and stab me if he felt the need to. I saw him walking in the hallway so I ducked behind another janitor cart that was in the hallway. He was probably heading to Miley's room.. He was going to get a big surprise.
"Joe," I heard David whisper to me. I didn't realize that I was in front of my dorm.
I stood up and turned around to face him. "Yeah?"
"You'll never believe what I just found out.." He drug me inside, but I decided to speak for him.
"Selena did the right thing by calling you and telling you that she slept with Nick?"
"WHAT?!" I guess that wasn't what he was talking about.. I stood silent and sat down on my bed while he caught his breath. "Selena slept with him?"
"Yes, David. I'm sorry." I laid down and shoved my head under the pillows. "I'M FUCKING EVERYONE'S LIFES UP!"
"Dude, no, you're not. You're being a GOOD friend by not keeping secrets like this. That's why I love you." I took the pillow away and gave him a look. "OH! No homo." I fake-smirked and put my head back under the pillow.
"I'll be right back.." I had a feeling that David wasn't going to take this well, but if there was thing I knew about David -- He always liked to find out the truth, so he'd most likely go to Nick or Selena first.
