****Disclaimer****All products used in this video were bought by me with my own money...I do not work for or represent any company...these opinions are my own...I dont know how the last part was cut out, but after I apply nail hardener(Sally hansen Triple Strong or Sally Hansen 4 in one moisturizer) I apply cuticle cream once my nails are dry.I also do some extra things to keep the length like
1.Drink plenty of water
2.Gloves while washing dishes or get my daughter to..lol
3.Take biotin once a day
4. Overall be gentle with them and love them
Thanks so much to ISALEANBODY http://www.youtube.com/isaleanbody and Love4nails http://www.youtube.com/love4nails

  • Do you have any tips for nails that constantly flake, and break!

  • @ScarlettOBeara actually mine still flake and break which is why I am holding off on videos, but you can file them and always always always keep hardner on them and that will keep them from breaking and flaking as much, stay tuned because I will be doing an updated video, thanks and God bless!

  • Do you wash dishes with your bare hands? Or do you use gloves of some type? I think nails brittle easily if they are soaked with (warm) water, can you confirm this? ^^

  • @conhopper78yes I wash dishes with my bare hands...but I rarely wash dishes...thats my kids job, and everyones nails are different, the warm water does not affect my nails and make them brittle, however if they are continuously in water, yes they will be somewhat soft.

  • what i do not get it and where do u get all the stuff?

  • @jhofmans they can come from anywhere from Walgreens to any beauty supply store.

  • @Carletta09 why did you soak your fingers in vinegar???

  • I am so glad that I found this video. I had my last relaxer in June '09 and since I decided to go natural with my hair, I also made the decision in November '11 to go natural with my nails and I have been going berserk every since. I have short, stubby, fat fingers that always look much better with long nails. It has been hard not heading back to the salon for a set of tips, but I'm sustaining. I plan to use tips for special occasions (no gel or acrylic), but what you show here is invaluable.

  • Do you know where I can find cuticle oil like specifically somewhere? :)

  • Actually always having your hands in water, and lotion your cuticles' become soft, and your nails grow like theyre on steroids.

  • you should also dip your hands in lemon it would make them healthy . by the way , where can you get this cuticle oil ? my nails grow at a certain rate and then tend to chip afterwords . and is nail harderner safe for preventing any chipping ?

  • can you use any moisturizer?

  • vinegar .....doesnt hurt when u put the fingers in it ....i have a lot of scratches around the nails ...awww . ....anyway tanx for the tutorial . ...im gonna try it ...cos my nails are very thin and brake all the time .
