Le Bourget 2011 - Airbus A380: welcome back on stage
The A380 test aircraft MSN4 landed back in Paris Le Bourget at 09:37 AM local time, showing its striking new "love at first flight" heart logo. The aircraft first arrived at Le Bourget on Sunday, but damaged a wing tip during a taxi incident on its way to the static display area. It returned to Toulouse for repairs that were performed by a talented and dedicated Airbus team. Efforts paid off with the A380's successful return to the show. Airbus top management congratulate the Airbus teams who worked hard to repair the A380 which is now back to Le Bourget airshow and which will fly over until the end of the week.

Video from 2005. That's rather old. There's no way Airbus would have brought A340's to this years (2011) air show, not just for their age, but it hasn't and doesn't sell well.

Now, the A380 is a marvelous "super jumbo," A bit bulky & hulky and goofy looking up front, but a great engineering achievement.

2:22 wow, that's a steep takeoff! I hope to be there next year. What amazing flight dynamics the A380 has, look at 10:47 any slower and it would be going backwards :P I'd like to see the 747 do that without dropping out the sky!

absolutely wonderful video! I think Airbus has the most beautiful and graceful airplanes on this planet^^ The A340-600 and the A380 are true beauties.
