A short play by local playwright Roseleen Walsh chronicles the legacy of Irelands 22 hunger strike martyrs of the 20th century from Thomas Ashe in 1917 to Mickey Devine in 1981.

  • Roisin (the singer) was in fact an actor who was playing the part of The Grief of Ireland. Unfortunately the stage was not big enought in the Felon's Club for Roisin to act her part which was choreograph into four slow movement around the stage each representing the four provinces of Ireland from which came all the hunger strikers who died.
