I hear the army no longer uses leather for their boots. Instead they replaced them with synthetic materials. Don't know how long those last but it makes sense. I <3 my redwing boots though. DAMN they are good!

This is the reason that, even though I'm not American, I fully appreciate the culture, the heritage and the dedication put into Red Wing products. They've stood the test of time as a brand and a product for a reason. They're irreplaceable to me
