  • Very shitty acoustics. I had to play this piece in high school band and we struggled with it for months. I am so happy there is finally a version of it on youtube. Ahh nostalgia. But it sucks that you can't hear the articulation of the 16th notes in a lot of places, especially the part where the flutes and first trumpets echo each other.

  • Its too slow, I played this in High School too. We had the guy who wrote it come in because his grand daughter was in our band. It should be a little faster.

  • compared to us... er....... no. theyre not.

but sure you go ahead and think that. you aint gettin nowhere if youre in a band like this one and think this is good.

  • oh and good video

  • hey betsymalfoy44 none cares about ur ability to play anything just fuck there acually really good.

  • this is gay. the beginning sounds off, it should be way faster and trumpets sound a little weird. im a junior. i played this 2 yearrs ago (freshmen year) and it was way better than this. pfft. you guys suck.

  • That euphonium solo is actually a little harder than it sounds.

  • i don't think this is good. my band played it and i thought it was wayyyyyy better. something is funky right before the minute mark with either the trumpets or horns.

  • Wonderful playing! The sound is so rich (perhaps it's the building) but nevertheless great performance! Great Eb Clarinet solo. I played this selection in high school and the solo is pretty tricky especially with all those grace notes but you played it beautifully. A little squeak on the solo but nothing to fuss over. SPECTACULAR! SPECTACULAR! SPECTACULAR!
