I would believe that people would understrand Anakin (I know its a movie character) even us would do anything to save our loved ones, Even if its doing something bad. It's just the fear of losing a loved one that can turn you into something completely different.

for all the people saying anakin should have killed Palpatine, he couldn't. He was afraid of losing Padme and Palpatine made him believe that he could save her. So if he killed Palpatine he would essentially be killing Padme.

@TheLogan3448 well after all those episodes the dark side grew and grew in him he change in side and out he lost his body and his loved one haunts him and he cant do anything about it then his last hour of life he changes back to that side he turned on for his son and daughter the only thing that he has to love.
