I'm afraid it's something far, far more pathetic than that - World of Warcraft.

(Actually, the crowd on that game is older than you'd think, and I met someone in real life after meeting them in-game. I say 'pathetic' strictly because of the stereotype that the game's players get.)

There's a secret bug in one of the levels of "Even Death May Die" where you can press the bookcase multiple times and continue to have it register as finding a secret (The game telling you that "A Secret is Revealed.", "You found a Secret.", etc.)

About your query at the 8 minute mark, I think that technically some secrets dont count unless you actually take the item. Simply entering the room isnt enough.
