This is I-45 North to Downtown Dallas where it Becomes US-75 North to the High Five Interchange.

LA metro is 3 times the size of DFW and much older. LA proper is 3 times the size of Dallas and again much older. It should be much more established. But Dallas has the better skyline and has a big quality of life advantage. Housing and jobs are much easier to find. You'll also find Dallas is a huge product test market, so many items are available early in Dallas. You're also starting to see lots of movies and shows filmed in Dallas as well.

Dallas drivers can get crazy, but although not as bad as LA Dallas does get congested. commute times are among top 10 worse in country

@varner313 The part of the freeway you were talking about (10 months ago) is in North Dallas, on the 75, heading North towards Richardson and Plano. It's a more middle-class to upper-class area. That freeway is nice.

Yeah that is funny you say that, because I am moving to Dallas finally after 8 long years of waiting for the right time and my co-worker has been talking a lot of doo-doo about the big D.

Thanks, I was using an older Sony Handycam, the model number escapes me. I moved up to an HD camera earlier this year.
