Burlington Northern on the Colorado & Southern 1987

A NB Burlington Northern Train from Denver bound for Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1987.
Eight locomotives on the front of this train.
3 SD40-2's 2 GP38-2's and a SD9!, and 2 more GP38-2's. Of course there's a caboose as well on this date in late 1987. This train is on the BN leased Colorado & Southern railroad at Pecos St. NW in Denver.

Gosh I wish this was the 1980s all over again, I miss the days when there were a lot of railroad companies like the BN, ATSF, SP and MKT ruling the west of the Mississippi

I sure miss the good ol' Burlington Northern, that was my favorite railroad and I wish it was still in existance
