it seemz Hagler N Hearns BOTH beat Sugar close. Sugar could have given Hags a rematch but decided not to. In stead he picked waited 4 Hags to reitre then picked a fight with some guy named lalonde who really cant do much of anything (except maybe hockey)
I thank God every nite that Hags didnt end hiz career a pathetic specatcle like SRL getting the shit beat out of him by Norris N Camacho

Hearns should have won but he wasn't robbed. How does that make sense? Easy. Hearns lost the last round clearly. He knows damn well that if there even five more seconds left he would've been TKOd just like in '81.

If this went 15 Ray cans him, but it did not and Hearns won the fight IMO! Ray had hin later though no doubt! He would have won had this gone 15 but like I said it did not so he won it.

Hearns was robbed in this fight the same way Hagler was robbed when he fought Leonard. Sugar was a judge's favorite. Look at the scoring here--one of the referees had Leonard ahead on points? How the hell is that possible with no knockdowns, and HE had been knocked down twice? It's ridiculous.

I had hearns winning 115-111.THIS was a robbery,but a great fight.At least hearns didn't lose.And leonard beat hagler fair and square,hagler's fault he gave away too many early rounds.

If this had been scheduleed for 15 like the first fight Ray would have stopped him again. Tommy got this one though. But I have new respect for Ray's guts and devasting body attack!!!!!!

Hearns definitely won this fight, the two knockdowns and the first four rounds had it in his pocket. The real loser though is Marvin Hagler, who KO'd Hearns and was robbed againt Leonard, he sounded like he felt that could've beaten both men on that night. But regardless all 3 were outstanding fighters and would kick the shit out of Manny Pac and Floyd Mayweather.
