As for what townsevillefield said below, hitting someone who is looking the other way is expected, because the only other option is to let him go by, make the tackle or whatever. This is one of the dangers speciifc to football. As someone who played on the kickoff teams (I know Rocca was punting), I know you can't be looking everywhere, and you're eventually gonna get flattened. Are you saying that in Aussie rules football you can't hit someone who's looking the other way?

It proves something when the player was paralyzed through protective gear, retard. If it wasn't for that, he would have been killed on the field. And there you go again talking through your dumb ass about how it doesn't hurt much because of the padding. And double the retard points for not even played the game before to know what you are talking about, unlike me, and still claim football isn't tougher. There should be a limit to how fucking stupid you can be.

I'm an arrogant ignorant idiot? You're the cocksucker mocking football players being "soft" for wearing safety gear. That spells arrogant ignorant idiot to me. Even if you included college and high school level, the death rate in AR is still very minuscule. Your game tackling is practically safer because high tackles are not allowed unlike football. So quit your bullshit about having tons of deaths in your game because you're the one who needs to grow a brain if you beleive that.

@richard1972r What does that prove, there have been players that been Paralyzed in Australian Football. That doesn't prove anything u Idiot. You play with Protective Equipment, it makes it so it doesn't hurt as much & in some cases u can go at the ball harder. Your players are protected Australian Footballer players aren't.
Write back again, I don't care. If u like American Football fine. But your sport isn't harder or tougher than Australian Football. That's a Fact & its clear as day.

@richard1972r Your an Arrogant, Ignorant, Idiot. Your points have been disproven & your game isn't harder or tougher. & fuck do some research, there have been a lot of Deaths in Australian Football, just none at professional level, you idiot. Get back to me when you play with out Protective Equipment & actual have to put your body on the line.
Grow a Brain, pull your Head out of your Ass & live in real world.

If they can't reach that state, then AR is not worse hitting than AF, because there have been PLENTY of players that got fucked up for life. Just ask Kevin Everett who got paralyzed after a tackle. Ask him also how much it didn't hurt with the padding, idiot.

@richard1972r What a lot of Americans refuse to comprehend, is in Australian Football most of the time you wouldn't get to the point of become a Vegetable.
Because with out Padding on you can't take as hard & get ridiculously hard tackled then dumped on your Head. Your opponent couldn't charge Head first with no concern for his own safety & couldn't tackle as hard. You first would get a Puncherd Lung, Knocked Out, or Broken Ribs ect, most of the time you wouldn't be able to get to that state.

And you are about as dumb as a jockstrap. In a game where two walls of offensive and defensive players collide into each other in full force, heads are gonna get bumped no matter where they turn it, retard. The only deaths in Aussie rules have been just 3 deaths and it was due to heart failure, not collision-related injury. Get back to me when you average 42 deaths/year like football pre-padding.
damn 3 years later and 63,000 views lol
