The Backyard Safari Bug Habitat is a great environment to house and observe insects. You'll have hours of fun observing the insects you catch with your Bug Vacuum (sold separately) when you put them into the Bug Habitat for viewing. The habitat includes a waterfall, vegetation, play hut so bugs can "hang out", and a small hill for your bugs to race up and down. Use the Moveable Magnifier to get up close for details. The entire clear plastic dome opens completely for easy cleaning too.

The Bug Vacuum captures insects by battery-operated vacuum suction power without harm into a clear plastic capture core. Then you can either release the insects back into the outdoors or in the Backyard Safari Bug Habitat (sold separately) built especially to house insects. The "capture core" even includes a magnifier for cool viewing. Comes with an extra nose cone and capture core for larger insects.

Bug vacuum measures approximately 4.5"D x 16"W x 5."H, requires 4 "AA" batteries (included).

  • I bought this for my son and he loves it, except we bought the "2 in 1 Habitat" (i think). He has caught spiders, pill bugs, and others and keeps them in the habitat. Even finds bugs to feed his current bugs.
