  • hi I love the don k reed show with all the magic doowops but I really love all the doowop jingles from the shows with groups singing about don k reeds doowop shop anybody who has any let me know cheers tony

  • I started listening to Gus Gossert in 1970, and then began listenting to Don K Reed in 1975 and listened to the show every Sunday night until it's demise in 2002. At that time it seemed to me that that was when the music died. I have a collection of over 250 tapes of the Doo Wop Shop and still enjoy listening to them today.

  • When I listened to the last JukeBox Saturday Night and spoke to Bobby Jay (by phone) I knew to DREAD the end. Bobby played songs that I had never even heard on the Doo Wop Shop!! However as he stated All GOOD thngs must come to an end. I treasured the Doo Wop Shop which opened it's doors exactly 1 week after my 14th birthday in June of 1975 until the "Shop" was closed27 years and almost 2 months later. Don K Reed you ran the "BEST" Shop that Group Harmony could ask for.

  • @OldSchoolSoapFan sunday nights will never be the same without the do wop shop and the ed sullivan show

  • Sunday night with Don K Reed in New York were the best.ROCK ON DON

  • I lived in Queens and ran down to the basement every Sunday to listen to the Doo-wop sounds with Don k Reed. Now I live in Florida where there are no doo-wop stations but my ipod is equipped with all of my favorite songs to last me an eternity. I quess that is why A Bronx Tale is one of my favorite movies of all time, thanks.

  • Nice tune - captures the feeling.

  • @OldSchoolSoapFan Forever in our hearts...thanks for the memories
