1998 Steelband Panorama Champs, Clive Bradley explaining what he does best, creating Panorama masterpieces, here playing David Rudder's composition "High Mas."
All you guys who criticise the arrangement and tempo of this song, try doing one yourselves nah! Do you think any other arranger (save Boogsie) would have the balls to go with such a slow tempo? The man was the greatest innovator amongst arrangers EVER!
How can Bradley win a panorama with this tune while keeping the original tempo of the song? Easy! Cause the man is a genius!
Regarding the person who commented on the song stating it should have been played "faster".... You just don't get it! But Bradley did.... LOL hence the reason he won that year LOL
I played that year with Nutones,it was indeed electrifying, honestly, you had to be there to experience the excitement. We miss you Bradley, you were damn talented, despite what these haters say.1998 was our year, who didn't like it,kiss my .............LOL,each to their own
Well i am convinced now, that this was indeed the worse panorama victory for a steelband, Bradley boy, hmmmmm and people calling this a masterpiece, oh please!!!!!!!
Master Clive Bradley great panorama achievement. he won wirth this unknown little steelband. It was after this win that Desperadoes begged him to return to the band.

I guess when you are as brilliant as Bradley was, it became easy to slip a few duds in between without some people noticing
