Scumbag Police:Bodyslams 84 yrs old lady with Alzheimer's

Not sure how many more of these videos we need to see of these scumbag cops attacking Americans for sitting in the wrong seat at a baseball game or a old lady that has lost her mind..There is noooo justification for this..Its really time for us to take back the streets from these goons and put back Police servants that will protect and serve..Total bullshit~~~Guerrilla

On the night of August 1, at a Whitehall, Ohio Walmart, Virginia Dodson could not remember why she was sitting alone in a car. Coming to grips with her enclosed environment, it dawned on her that she did not know how to unbuckle her seat belt either. Panic began to take hold.
Her solution was to scrounge up a steak knife and cut through the straps, eventually finding her way into the confusing world of the parking lot, still wielding the blade.
Virginia, an 84-year-old African American, has Alzheimer's disease. Like many other sufferers, the responsibility for her care fell to her adult child. Her daughter, however, was inside the store.
It was only a short matter of time before the police were called.
As she wandered the parking lot calling her daughter's name, she was approached by a white, female officer who clearly ordered her to drop the weapon. She did not.
What happened next was captured on video
The cop should be fired, period. And charged with assault. But I'm willing to bet the cops will find no excessive force and she won't get in trouble. In fact if she does, I'm willing to bet it will only be for getting caught on camera.

that is wrong. the officer should be dealt with. no ability to use any other method due to lack of judgement and enough training and education. i guess it made them feel good to knock down an old lady that could have been disarmed in another way. now..not that i am defending old people. i think the old hag has long outlived her usefulness.

The woman with the knife is clearly elderly and pretty helpless - to use a disarming technique you'd use on a young, armed man shows that the policewoman in question is seriously lacking in judgement.

We need police of a certain skill level - unfortunately, on both sides of the pond, we just seem to employ thugs for these roles whose primary purpose is a nice uniform, and the ability to carry weapons legally and beat on people with impunity.

The cop didn't know the old lady was mentally disturbed. Maybe they would have had the time to establish her circumstances had she not been carrying a knife.

That fact changes the entire dynamic of the situation.

The cop was within her rights to do what she did. For her own protection and for those around her. Just because she is old doesn't mean she isn't capable of sticking that knife into someones neck. It was just unfortunate she was ill and ironic her carer wasn't there to care for her.

She used the knife to cut herself free from the automatic seat belts. She had just bought the knives inside the store. When she cut herself free, she was laughing carrying the knife and showing those girls what she had to do. Everyone involved was happy and no one was in distress. The cop followed protocol, but the poor lady was goofing off and got slammed and humiliated. I'm pretty sure the cop didn't intend for that to happen, which is why we should protect our elders. They are precious!!

I watched the video and thought it was extreme but then i watched it again I saw the lady wouldn't drop the knife. I guess you think that the cop should have disarmed her with pretty words. Attention ! Cops shouldn't get cut or stabbed no matter what ! wait, I see what is now. The cop was white. oh, in that case it was racism. Lol. You people are ridiculous. I didn't see anyone else rush up to the disarm the old bag. Oh yeah. Because they did't want to get cut up.
