I don't think it was "cancelled" it was a story with a beginning and an end.... it's a reminder... "you gott's Boogie? I gott's to Boogie!!!" Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ!
yeah i was pissed this was cancelled, was such a good show. john from cincinatti, true blood, deadwood and sopranos(although i think sopranos went on too long) all good-great shows-showtime wishes they had good shows like these-weeds pfff! the other one with the x-files guy pfff! crap compared to
So sad that this show was cancelled...for any fans, I really recommend the DVD set. Milch has some fantastic commentary, and a FULL explanation of John's speech from Ep 6.
His commentary reveals a lot about where the show was headed, and it was to a positive and uplifting point. The series was to ultimately be about humans' ability to bring out the best in each other, and fight prejudice and fear.
Sad that HBO viewers would rather watch aging socialites have sex than see something positive.
I loved this show and Deadwood and HBO is fucking stupid JFC was funny and great and Deadwood was also great than that same year The Sopranos Stopped forever, such a sad year in TV history
David Milch´s audio commentary (onthe first and the last episode) is highly recommended. Very authentic, very profiund! Even these 10 episodes will write history, be sure, Mr. Milch!

This was going to be a long drawn out mysterious plot like Lost, and now it makes no fucking sense.
