@bamboozled101 Actually I know very well that the team was on the verge of relocating/scollapsing due to pathetic fan support prior to the arrival of your darling Crosbaby. Considering Penguin Bandwagoners have been blessed with easily the best talent in hockey over the last 20 years (Crosby, Geno, Lemieux, Jagr, Francis, Recchi etc..) it's hard to imagine this team was nearly dead. I think it shows how fragile your fanbase is. I doubt another bottom dweller would survive in that city...

@bamboozled101 Except of course when they sucked. Then nobody cared. Before then they had the great years with Lemieux and after they sucked for a while they got Crosby and Malkin so the "fans" came back.
