  • You didnt say this in the video, but because both bags are MOLLE compatible, you could just buy the cooler Maxpedition attachments and rig them up to the 511 bag. And speaking of getting free stuff, where did you buy your Rush 72 bag? The price is a little better than 511's website, and I havent checked Amazon's price yet but I like the idea of free stuff. Your comparison helped me decide between these two very good/capable bags.

  • @cyleleghorn246 Yes, I am planning on using the Blackhawk Speed Clips for attached miscellaneous Maxpedition pouches to the Rush 72. I purchased mine from LA Police Gear, which I think has better prices that 511. I'm glad this comparison video was helpful to you!

  • 5.11 warranty

    Exclusions from Coverage

Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following: • Products purchased other than from 5.11 or from an authorized 5.11 dealer. • Damage resulting from abuse or misuse. • Damage resulting from extended wear and tear. • Damage resulting from tampering or a customer modification. • Damage resulting from exposure to a caustic substance. • Consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, exemplary, and/or special damages

  • @llemmon So are you saying that I could return it and get the new one for no cost?

  • The 5.11 Rush packs now come with straps on the bottom of the bag.

  • I've heard. I wish I could return mine for the new version. Maybe I should look at selling mine (Ebay) and getting the new one?

  • good review. and the Spec Ops T.H.E Pack??? seems better then this 2. what think?

  • FYI- MOLLE is pronounced like the girls name not the mexican sauce... nice vid tho, helpful ; )

  • I was looking at the rush 72 today and it had molle across the bottom. Not a cinch strap like the Vulture, but you could still lash something to the bottom if you had to. IDK if that's a new thing or if I just missed it the first time I saw the bag in person. Maybe it's a second edition? It wasn't a full strip, but it had enough points that you could lash something there.

  • How come the Vulture-2 says it holds 2810 cu, and the Rush 72 holds 2640, but you're saying the 72 has a lot more capacity? Am I reading the website wrong? Great vid though!

  • rush 72 has better material its rated at 1050 and the vulture is 1000

  • Part 2: on your neck. Thanks for the review! How do you like the pack now that you have used it a while now?

  • Just an observation, but aren't you suppose to have all the weight carried on your hips and not your shoulders? Because your taller this may be difficult, but that is the way I was shown how to use the lower belt strap. This should elevate some of the stress from the yoke-style shoulder straps on u

  • @llemmon

Doesn't this basically just say that "If you break it under our 'warranty' we still won't take it back."?
