I went on a visit to the Royal Museum and to the Museum of Scotland today in Scotalnd's capital city, Edinburgh. I took a huge number of photographs, but I also decided to hav a fiddle with the video feature, because it's quite a lot of fun, and sometimes stuff in museums moves! Wowee! I didn't record the Millenium Clock moving because I didn't think you lot really deserved to see it, scum that you are. Take the trip to Edinburgh and see it for yourselves, David will heartily agree that it's a good enough watch, better than that stupid pump upstairs in the museum of Scotland, and it only lasts a few minutes, so you're not standing around too long.
I visited the National Museum of Scotland today. The new displays are superb, very impressive. There is a good section about evolution. For more great information about evolution try the excellent books of Richard Dawkins, ' The ancestor's tale', ' The blind watchmaker', ' Climbing Mt Improbable ' also Daniel Dennett, ' Darwin's dangerous idea'. Charles Darwins book , 'On the origin of species ' is also a good read, he wrote it with the general public in mind.

the big PUMP Thing is actually an Engine.
Also the Royal Museum is NOW Closed until 2011 as it is getting a £46.4 Million Refurbishment and Modernisation.
New Street Level entrances will replace the Underground Cave type areas with Locker Rooms and Fish Tank Pumps. (NO MORE FISH).
This building will also no longer be called the Royal Museum after NMS renamed it - January 2010 to The National Museum to Join both the buildings together and help the Branding of all the Museums in Scotland.
