Please enjoy Teresa's performance of a Japanese song, "グッドバイ・マイ・ラヴ (Good-bye My Love), orinally sung by アン・ルイス ( Ann Lewis) in 1974. 平尾昌晃 (Hirao Masaaki) composed the song, and なかにし礼 (Nakanishi Rei) wrote the lyrics.
Teresa's corresponding Chinese song is "再見我的愛人 Goodbye My Love".
The following are the Japanese original lyrics, together with my English translation.
Good-bye my love, kono machikado-de
(Good-bye my love, at this corner.)
Good-bye my love aruite yukimashou
(Good-bye my love, let's walk.)
Anatawa migini watashiwa hidarini furimuitara makeyo
(You go to the right, and I go to the left. You will be lost when you look back.)
Goody-bye my love, mo ichido daite
(Goody-bye my love, please embrace me again.)
Good-bye my love, watashino namida-wo
(Good-bye my love, I am wiping my tears)
Anatano hohode fuiteirunoyo nakimaneja naino
(With your face. I am not pretending to weep.)
Wasurenaiwa anatano koe yasashii shigusa teno nukumori
(I will never forget your voice, your tender gesture, and your warm hands.)
Wasure-naiwa kuchizuke-notoki souyo anatano anatano namae
(I will never forget the moment of kissing, yes your and your name.)
Good-bye my love, I'll never forget you. And please, oh, please say you'll never forget me. We can meet again someday.
Good-bye my love, futarino koiga
(Good-bye my love, if our love is ...)
Good-bye my love, shinjitsu naraba
(Good-bye my love, if our love is true,)
Itsukawa aeru korega hontono sayonaraja-naino
(We can see each other someday. This is not real good-bye.)
Wasurenaiwa anatano koe yasashii shigusa teno nukumori
(I will never forget your voice, your tender gesture, and your warm hands.)
Wasure-naiwa kuchizuke-notoki souyo anatano anatano namae
(I will never forget the moment of kissing, yes your and your name,)
Mochiron anatano anatano namae
(And of course, your and your name.)
Thanks a lot, Mr. Masami, Sir. Btway, the last shot of Teresa, how old was she then?

I enjoy those songs: Who actually sang this? The Teresa Teng herself?
