Greg Hildebrandt created this beautiful pinup girl, life size, on black suede for the top of a poker table for a tournament. It is the largest pinup he has painted. Greg had a blast painting her. He says it is his equivalent to black velvet art.

I just found this today... amazing! I have been following your work (and your brother's) since I was just a little girl, and I am thrilled to finally see a painting in action. You have given me a lot to consider in my own work--on top of being the primary reason I work in acrylic over oil, to the chagrin of numerous instructors.

Thank you Greg! That was really generous and inspirational. I like to draw people, using crayons and pastels primarily. Seeing what you do with paint on a dark canvas really makes me want to have a go at it myself. Thanks again.

After absorbing the rich colours of the Hildebrandt Bros. for so many years, it's a huge treat for me to watch you work from concept to finish. Huge.
Some of the paintings done over the years have had a huge impact on me (esp Pied Piper).
