Acharya Shree Yogeesh speaks on addiction, habits, and addiction programs and emphasizes the need of self-awareness.

Addictions in life are difficult to break, because addictions take over the person.

Even believing in God, Jesus, Rama, Krishna or any other faith, will not help them completely. Yes, it will help them temporarily, but not rid them of the actual addiction, craving or habit.

Addictions and Habits are formed because of the many toxins in the body. For example, if one smokes, toxins are created in the system that will make the person crave smoking. Once all toxins are removed from the system, one can be free of addiction and habits.
Through one's self-effort and awareness, one can break their addictions, cravings, and habits.

Acharya Shree also suggests a Kriya Technique that will detoxify one's body of the toxins that create the craving/addiction. However, he states and warns that this technique should not be attempted without real guidance from a living enlightened master.

  • I am one of the BIGGEST freaks in my community because I don't smoke or drink! I don't take mind altering drugs from any doctor.

I am very lonely because I am of a pure heart.

EVERYONE I know except children use drugs/alcohol on a regular basis.

  • Weed on occasion is fine, (Depends on who you are), but ALCOHOL SUCKS , that's why it's legal! ... On special occasions it's fine, but not everyday, once you find yourself and take life seriously you strive to make the best of your life, and reprogram yourself, go through a transformation... and then you learn ways to break the habit and cope with things differently, naturally.

  • Your advices help me a lot. Specialy focusing on every cigarete i was smoking...

  • I recently quit smoking after 16 years.Only thing that really helped is saying to myself .."hey,I've been a smoker for 16 years ..now lets see what it's like to be smoke free again".I look forward to a good meal now,WOW! I still crave but I'm experienced enough now to know they'll pass in 5-10 mins.I started smoking at 14 years old I'm 31 now.Kinda feel like a kid again....I did this cold turkey and don't suggest you do the same but sometimes a person can surprise themselves when they dig deep.

  • @LabRat6619 I hear you, I feel that way too but there are others out there ......gotta keep looking....

  • @DorjeDriftw00d I would like to get info

  • @PrettyBoySexy2 why do u have to insult him just stop getting on youtube if we are all wacos because guess what ur a waco too along with us if u watched this video

  • The only way to stop doing drugs?! Is to fucking give death sentence to people who are selling them and who are taking them!!! I have an older brother who is addicted to drugs, and it's so hard to see him waste his life like that, and it's even harder watching him die day by day!!! I know I'm angry, but it's will be so much easier to give death sentences or in life sentences to people who sale them and who does them!!!

That's my opinion and don't put hate on me

  • I know someone who can clear the Karma and emotional baggage around somebodies addiction in a matter of minutes. If anyone is interested hit me up. I am so greatful for his help in my own struggles.

  • i know im 20 + i did try that stuff but one day decided i wanted to be healthy, the only reason i go to clubs or pubs is to talk to friends/ the atmosphere but i dont wanna drink it just makes me feel sick and hungover the next day
