Dragon Warrior 3 (GBC) video footage

A random video footage about Dragon Warrior 3 (GBC version). As you can see, the graphics are vastly improved from the NES version. You can bet in monster stadiums, and the monsters now have animations which make random encounters less boring ^_^

I had 400k from betting, I thought the music would never stop playing. I never needed to earn money again. I also had 5 change staffs and wreck whips for my whole party. I love this game soooo much, I played it more than the pokemon games(not all the pokemon games in total, that would just be crazy). I wish I could erase my memory and replay it because after play through 4 times its not as fun. I didn't do everything I wanted to do before my it broke, I did get to talk to Ortega though.

I think in most newer games the most important part of the RPG is lost, the story. Its not about graphics, the battle system or nothing like that. I like the way the story was told in that game, not that it was really deep (thats where you imagination comes into play,, to make something of it, with your mind, like a book) I think graphics and stuff sometimes get in the way of your own brain. So I think I'll just keep this in my heart as a warm memory and move on to the next story.

i agree, i think there are 2 reasons for this, first it needs more time and money to have a good story in game, second most companies really think that graphics equals the game and players will buy it as long as the graphics is good. square enix really needs to get kicked in the butt especially for this (FF12 comes to mind). Maybe that's y i prefer 2D RPGs more than 3D ones.

No, you cannot play GBC games on the DS. But you can always download an emulator..... ;)

my first rpg, oh man, i remember this game. *downloads rom hehe. cant wait for Dragon Quest IX, in fact that was one if the main reasons I purchased my DS :)

the BEST rpg for gameboy color and advance of ALL time! I remember even my dad playing this as the VERY FIRST game ever played on game boy advance and he LOVED IT i just told him i found it and he was like man that was a good game xD

@botchalism I do not like to play portable games on a PC emulator.

if I was thinking, and I will buy a portable video game Dingoo one, he is able to emulate psx, gbc, gba, super nes, genesis etc, it will be perfect in this case good and cheap.

For everyone who wants to play this on DS (like I am)

You need an r4. If you do, download Lameboy (NDS GBC emulator) put it in your games file and make another folder called Gameboy Games and put dragon warrior 3 in the folder! thumbs up so others can see!

I haven't seen this game in at least years, but as soon as this clip started instant nostalgia and I was humming along to the music, it's like I never forgot about this game.

I had this game, I traded it for two cartridges but they were bad games, I was stupid at that time and did not value this magnificent game, today I miss this game ... do I need to buy this game! today is a rare cartridge.

i spent so much time on these games.

For some reason I never liked RPGs like FFVII but when it comes to these eagle eye view types on GBC like Dragon Quest and Pokemon I can't get enough.
