Newsreader: "Groups that represent people with disabilities are alarmed by plans to reduce staffing at some railway ticket offices in Birmingham and have lobbied the transport minister in London.
Jack Dromey, the Labour MP for Birmingham Erdington, led a delegation concerned by proposals put forward by London Midland to shut some offices completely and reduce the number of staff at others. They want the transport minister to intervene."
Sarah: "If the staffing levels are being cut, who is going to be there to assist me and to help me and people like me remain in employment, contribute to the economy and remain safe?"
Mike: "Their actions in reducing staff will lead to isolation, create employment problems for people and will make the disabled more vulnerable than they already are."
