In 1960, 6-year old Ruby Bridges, was the first black child to integrate a public school in New Orleans. This is a dramatization of her story through the words of Ruby at 6, at 18 and at 36 with interjections from Ruby's first white teacher, Barbara Hunter.
Was thrilled to be at the Human Rights Dinner in NOLA this summer and see this presentation in person. Makes you proud of what we have accomplished and aware of all we still need to do to continue our work for human rights.
