I saw this dirty big plane take off from Auckland airport, but not on this ocassion. But still, it is so big, it took some time before it made it to the runway to turn around and then take off. And when it took off, it just kinda lifted up into the air like some big metal eagle and i watched it fly away. Hmm. What a sight!

Another good vantage point is the domestic car park at AKL, you can see length of runway and its undercover.
