Call me crazy but this could totally work as a remake. Robert Rodriquez (Planet Terror) or Sam Raimi (Army of Darkness/ Evil Dead) could really turn this into an epic NeonZombiepalozza. Most remakes fail because they go with music video directors and not someone with a proven track record and respect of the source material.
