  • @ptiboul33 instead of downloading 10 MINUTES video, i've done an easy print sceen and add about 7 notes..

this tutorial could have been done clearly in less than 3 mins.. it seem he MUST arrive at 10mins!! so strange..(mouse tripping around..)

  • Nice music

I used to use these 2 programs 2 years ago and forgot how to use them

But now I am getting back into them. This will help me

I just wish there was a quicker ay to make the avi.

There are so many video formats and procedures and programs its hard to know what is best.

  • Thanks for the video it was very helpful.

If i make it 1000mb instead of 700mb would i have to change any other settings and would it make much difference to the quality?

  • @jfolck1886 Check the vob. I found that to be the case on a few, but when I looked at the vob in Mediaplayer Classic, I found that it was the fault of the vob. That can be fixed by stripping the audio and using virtual dub to put it back where it belongs.

  • XPsp3/IntelCore2Quad/Q9450@2.66GHz/4GB Ram

Was having trouble /w other apps dropping the last few mins on the VOBs. This doesn't, and am able to queue converts through the night while watching a movie at same time. Converts are from 1.5 to 2.5 hours. DVD Decrypter has replaced SmartRipper for me.On disk that have scratches, it retries reads while without aborting to a prompt unless the default of 20 errors is reached, but can be changed to even ignoring them under the I/O tab under settings.

  • Lol just rip a dvd and put it together in like 30 min with a core i7, damn thats fast :P

  • Hi there, thanks for the info we are testing now, 2 questions:

How can I make the str Subtitle files to be played on vlc, to have subtitles and also a clean movie?

and also, can I do this in MAC, and it so, what software do I need?

    thanks!

  • Great tutorial. However, because of the length of time it takes (nearly 5 hours) wouldn't it be quicker to just download the movie at the correct size to start with?

  • Hi there, any ideas how to do this in MAC?

  • So I just did everything you did, and my audio is lagging between .5 to .75 seconds behind the video. The only difference is that the movie was the original Cars, and it wasnt the widescreen version. Any ideas? It sucks my computer just sat here for 3 hours processing it just to have it end up not right. :(

  • @tpsfla thanks for posting this, I ran into the same problem!
