  • "Times it by" is extremely poor English since "times" is a plural noun, not a verb.

    It should be, of course, "multiply it by".

  • @cottonwhiskersuk Well yes i did post this when i was 17 and have learnt to formally structure solutions, and im going for a degree in maths not english
