64th Anniversary of the end of WWII in Asia - Fairchild TV

City of Vancouver proclaims August 15, 2009 as Day of Peace in the Asia-Pacific

A commemoration event organized by UBC student club AWWA （UBC亞洲二戰覺醒會主辦）and sponsored by B.C. ALPHA （卑詩省亞洲二戰浩劫史實維護會(史維會) 贊助）will be held to honour victims and those who served and sacrificed during WWII in Asia. The press conference will announce the details of the commemoration and at the same time launch the educational version of the award-winning docudrama, Iris Chang The Rape of Nanking.
