Love this song! It is all about the voice, the vibe, the love! Phillip is a wonderful vocalist and Sabrynaah was and is one of my favorite House artists ever! (RIP)
This was my very first record! The fabulous Sabrynaah Pope was one of the backup diva's in the choir. Time sure flies bye, Thank you to 95 North and to all of the fans past and present who made this song a hit....
One of my favorites that we did. Doug came up with the idea to remake this Earth, Wind, and Fire cut. He came up with the bass line and I filled in the chords, etc. Doug met Philip in Richmond, VA and brought him up to do the vocals. we recorded the background vocals in NJ and were supposed to record the leads as well, but there was a technical problem preventing that. So we kept the original demo lead vocals. Turned out OK. :-) This was one of our first records with extensive background vocals.
