Recorded on August 3, 2011 using a Flip Video camera. The guitar is 1997 Fender american standard telecaster. The amp is a 1972 Fender Pro Reverb. The effect is a MXR Phase 90 pedal at about 5 oclock. The last lick really wasn't so much Waylon but it was fun.

  • I would say that's the combo to get er done!

  • @firehawkbandit93 thanks ELB. I am gonna get me a compressor as well. I think it'll raise the twang factor too.

  • @ussjpr82 Take my advice and get a high end compressor. The one I bought is too noisy. I would get the MXR custom shop vintage if i had it to do over.

  • @firehawkbandit93 you have the mxr dyna comp? the red one? its like$75?

  • Nice Job, I haven't heard that sound since Waylon died!

  • @martinguitar188 now that's a great compliment. Thanks so much

  • Thats awesome.Waylon used a Stone Phase Shifter

  • @ussjpr82 Yes, get the $175 one. Or else you will be buying a smart gate and end up spending the same money anyway.
