  • We can all fly 3d on a sim with a perfectly set up computerized heli and no wind. Why not put some vids up of your 3D heli flying at the field?

  • No, nothing at all wierd about the controls just

As clearly stated this is mode 1 and was very normal before mode 2 became the prefered method.

I am sure both have their merits.

I learned mode 1 because it made more sense to me personally.

  • When I fly my Blade 120SR its like taking a picture a beautiful seen, Flying my T-REX 700E 3G Super Combo is like painting the beautiful seen.

  • @frankovich213

Tareq Alsaadi is an amazing 3D Helicopter pilot and he flies with thumbs.

  • Frame 27/3:14 does represent the correct stick movements......the bird goes from inverted to a fan type movement ...from inverted he gives up stick movement or positive, (when taking off from the ground).....this movement should of drove the chopper into the ground....soooooo is this made up?

  • @Thrashaero I agree with you on most things however just because the sim companies use that as their marketing strategy doesn't mean it's not good economics to get one. At the end of the day it is actually true that the cost of crashes outweighs the cost of sims, therefore when you say "it's obviously working on most people", you mean common sense right?

  • @RotorHead2652 I disagree. While the pinching method is more precise, it is slower than the thumbs method.

Most good pilots will use both methods depending on the model they are flying and the maneuvers they are attempting however, it should be noted one of the world's best rc heli pilots flies with his thumbs only. I forget his name.

  • youshould rele try flying with your thumb and fore finger

  • you suck and you take it in the ass every night

  • @Rakesh4502 No you need to change the pitch of the heli blades using while using the idel up switch. When you fip idel up pushing the trottle up or down changes the pitch of the blades up=+ down=- So when you fly you have to flip it backwards while pushing down so the helicopter will hover upside down. THIS TAKES MUCH PRACTICE.
