Don't use. You will have melted chemicals in your food. Toxics will go into your food. 100 percent sure of it.

Your slow cooker may be clean but your food has tiny melted particles of the plastic in it. Not a good idea. It's not even a good idea to let take out restaurants put hot soups into plastic containers since the heat will remove the toxins from the container, into your food and into your body. Your body may initially resist the low level of poisons but eventually it will be overwhelmed by them.

i lost the knob of mine too or more to the point i turned it on and it broke on the shaft.
my friend had an old crock put and the knob fitted. only thing the indicator arrow points the wrong way. but it doesnt matter.
i have never had an issue with mine getting dirty i just put it in the dishwasher.
Seems unneccesary.Just leave the pot to soak and do it with the washing up. More concerned that you've lost your knob.A young man ( even a batchelor) needs a fully operational knob. btw what is it you cannot do with one hand.

Agree. I don't think it is worth it either. Mostly wanted to give it a try and see how it works. However, if you do end up cooking something that sticks, you know what to use. :-)

I love using the slow cooker and this liner seems like a new thing. I don't usually find cleaning the slow cooker to be an issue. Its probably more of a problem if you have a slow cooker that burns the food a little as some of them do. Although I haven't seen any problems with slow cookers that are made by Sunbeam or Breville.

Good to know. Thanks. I didn't find it as useful after a couple of tries. Maybe same some time of cleaning.
